The Road so Far
Before opening Wheeler Oldsmobile Cadillac in Yuba City in 1960, David Wheeler was as Lieutenant Colonel in US Army Air Corp, where he served during World War II and completed 25 missions over occupied Europe. Those who serve our country will always hold a special place in the hearts of the Wheeler family.
After returning from the war, David came back to the bay area with his family and began his career in the auto industry. Showing much success in sales and customer service, he was given the opportunity to open his own GM car dealership. David chose a location in Yuba City, California to settle his family, open a business, and be a part of a wonderful community. 60 years later, the dealership is now run by David’s son, Michael, who has been at the helm for the past 40 years. Keeping things local and in the family, the third generation of Wheelers are now involved, ensuring the dealership’s commitment to the Yuba Sutter community and our customers.
The dealership has seen many changes over the past 60 years, including the addition of Mazda and Chevrolet brands. But throughout all of the changes, the values of our family owned and operated business have remained the same... And that means taking care our customers is our number one priority.
